    Stopped by the Grand Pizzeria and Bar for some lunch. The place has plenty of seating both inside and out. It was a nice sunny day, so we chose to sit outside and enjoy the view while eating. The menu includes clearly marked vegetarian and halal options, which is always appreciated—no need to guess. We ordered the chicken wings (without being tossed in Parmesan), the Tuscan pizza, and a cheese pizza from the kids menu. Everything tasted great. Wings can be hit or miss at some places, but these were full of flavor and matched well with the dipping sauce. The Tuscan pizza was excellent, especially with a sprinkle of Parmesan and a dash of hot sauce. Even the kids cheese pizza was a win. We were happy we chose to eat here and would definitely recommend!

    Huge woodfired pizza oven, good atmosphere in the heart of the byward market in downtown Ottawa. I went during market hour (4pm-6pm) and the place was packed, found a spot at the bar. Met some great locals including the owner, had a good time. Staff was great, friendly and attentive. I had 3 drinks and got 2 12" pizzas all for less than 50! Will definitely go back and their hot sauce mentioned in other reviews was indeed delicious.

    The food here is really yum. You can see that they take their time in preparing the ingredients and the quality really comes through. The service here is also exemplary. Must visit for wood fired pizza for sure. (P.S Their hot sauce is actually really good and spicy)

    Went here for dinner and had such a good time! The service was great and the food was fantastic. All our pizzas, pastas and salads were delicious, the hardest part is choosing what to order. But you can't go wrong, and you can modify a pizza or create your own too. And to top it all off, their in-house hot sauce simply makes everything even better! I would return here next time I'm in the area.

    My husband and I stopped in for lunch and had a great experience overall. We were greeted right away and seated on the patio, which is absolutely beautiful. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and our food and drinks came out quickly. We shared a fire oven pizza and it was phenomenal—crispy, fresh, and full of flavor. Our server was very friendly. Prices are a bit on the higher side, but for the quality and the setting, it’s a great treat. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a patio spot in downtown Ottawa!

    One of the best pizza i have had in recent years. They have market hours from 3-6 and half off on pizza and beer at 5 Monday to Friday. Must try if you like authentic flavors. The host is really humble and tried to accommodate hour preferences.

    The Grand Pizza is a Byward Market staple and for good reason - you can't beat their half-price market hour pizzas! Perfectly cooked, great quality inside a classic location with an unparalleled patio. Good luck finding a better pizza for 10-15, you won't! 20 Sangria pitcher was awesome as well!

    The meatballs are incredible! Loved all of the food! Our server (Adrian) took great care of us. 5-star experience! Will come back again. Highly recommended!
